- Access Controls: Strict access controls limit who can access your data
- Secure Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is hosted on Vercel with Cloudflare protection, backed by Convex's secure database

- Push Notification Tokens: If you enable push notifications, your device push token is stored to deliver notifications
This on-device data is not transmitted to third parties and can be cleared by uninstalling the app or clearing app data.
Despite these measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your information.

7.6 Data Processing Objection
You may object to certain processing of your personal information based on legitimate interests.
7.7 Withdrawal of Consent
Where we rely on your consent to process personal information, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing conducted prior to withdrawal.
7.8 Exercising Your Rights
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at support@pickgeeks.com. We will respond to your request within 30 days (or sooner if required by applicable law). We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA):
8.1 Right to Know

9. Nevada Privacy Rights
If you are a Nevada resident, you have the right to opt out of the sale of certain personal information. We do not currently sell personal information as defined under Nevada law. If you would like to submit a request, please contact us at support@pickgeeks.com with the subject line "Nevada Privacy Rights."
10. Other U.S. State Privacy Rights
Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws have additional rights. As of the effective date of this policy, those states include (without limitation): Virginia (VCDPA), Colorado (CPA), Connecticut (CTDPA), Utah (UCPA), Texas (TDPSA), Oregon (OCPA), Montana (MCDPA), Iowa (ICDPA), Delaware (DPDPA), New Jersey (NJDPA), Tennessee (TIPA), Indiana (ICDPA), Minnesota (MCDPA), Maryland (MODPA), Rhode Island, and New Hampshire (NHDPA).
Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:
- Confirm whether we process your personal data and access that data
- Correct inaccuracies in your personal data
- Delete personal data you provided or that we obtained about you
- Obtain a portable copy of your personal data
- Opt out of the processing of your personal data for (a) targeted advertising, (b) the sale of personal data, or (c) profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects
- Limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal data
- Appeal our decision regarding a privacy rights request
We do not sell personal data, engage in targeted advertising, or conduct profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@pickgeeks.com with the subject line "State Privacy Rights." We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law (typically 45 days, with one extension permitted where allowed). If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response; if your appeal is denied, you may contact your state attorney general.
Authorized agents: You may designate an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require the agent to demonstrate written authorization and may require you to verify your identity directly.
11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
11.1 Do Not Track
Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no common understanding of how to interpret DNT signals, the Service does not currently respond to DNT browser signals.
11.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We do not sell personal information and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We implement Google Consent Mode v2, which defaults ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage to denied until you affirmatively grant consent. Because our default state already complies with the outcome a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal is intended to produce (no sale, no cross-context behavioral advertising, no non-essential tracking without consent), GPC signals have no practical effect on the data practices of the Service. If we add processing activities that would otherwise trigger an opt-out right, we will update this policy and begin honoring GPC signals server-side at that time.
12. International Data Transfers
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access or use the Service from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. These jurisdictions may have data-protection laws that differ from (and may be less protective than) those of your jurisdiction.
When we transfer personal data from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland to the United States or to other jurisdictions that have not been deemed "adequate" by the European Commission, we rely on one or more of the following safeguards:
- Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum
- EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, UK Extension, and Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (where our service providers are self-certified)
- Your explicit consent, where appropriate
- Other safeguards permitted by applicable law
You may request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us at support@pickgeeks.com.
13. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to, and is not intended for, individuals under the age of 21. We do not knowingly collect, use, or sell personal information from anyone under 21, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 within the meaning of the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you are under 21, do not use the Service or provide any personal information to us.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child under 21 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@pickgeeks.com with the subject line "Minor Data Request," and we will promptly delete the information and terminate any associated account.
14. Third-Party Links and Services
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not operated by us, including external sportsbook websites and sports data providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
